     Artificial Intelligence meaning (AI) It's increasingly advancing in time. In fact, the 'robotics' of this era are improving such as, computers, cars etc. Humans are the only type of organism that could make non-living things example, 'man-made' e.g. cars, computers, and even robots. These types of machinery's are developing at the speed of light. For instance, man 'humanity' have made these robots to function the same as humans do. Example, as seen in the 'LIB hour' Prof. Dragan & Prof. Brown showed a film were Japanese robots even had the physical appearance of man. Many humanistic analysis have been approached example, the Nurture-Nature debate of the question that concern everyone 'If robots have similar functions e.g. 'behaviors' would they ever have a mind' meaning would robots ever have mental states?. This question is debated in many ways in a analytical, and reasoning addpatation.However there are many arguments for and against this fact. exmaple, also wether robotics could have emotions just like they have similar behavrios as the human is capable to adapt. In the essay written by David Gelerner Dream-Logic, The Internet and Artifical Thoughthe impliesthe issue of wether 'machines'- such as, robots are able to have a mind. In fact, Galerner states that "Here is an unfortunate truth: today's mainstream ideas about humans and artifical intelligence thought lead nowhere" (Gelernter 202). This author give the idea that 'AI' in machines would never occur meaning that robots would never have mental states- meantal processes simalr to humans. However, Ray Kurzweil wrote an addatable argument to this logical perspective. In  The Singularity is Near Kurzweil has another approcah deabting these circumstances. In fact, he argues that 'AI' refering to robotics; would have a greater capacity, and a greater level of intelligence better than humans. Kurzweil states,"Artifical Intelligence at human levels will necessarily greatly exceed human intelligence for several reasons"( Kurzweil 138). Indeed, he actually mentiones that robots have the capacity of adapting to the world in a easier rate. In these both reading a variety of ideas were showed- in fatc, as humans we have the advantage of choosing any argumenative side. We could either have a hummanitic view- a techo-roamnticism or a argument that robotics would have better knowlege than humans will. Today, people are interacting more and more with computers. If all computers are stopped for a day, complete civilization comes to a halt. This is why many people have a diffrent point of view whn it comes to the debate of 'robotics' having thoughts, and even a complexity of emotions.

Final draft late follow-up

 

 I gave my draft to the professor really early; because i was nervous about my research topic.However, receiving my draft back from the professor i was happy with the response he gave! It was passing, but a HUGE mistake i did, was not CITE of course. Citing its my biggest problem, i really don't know why because i use to do all the time back in high school. After reading my draft for multiple times; i came to the conclusion that it was a perfect research only if it was CITED correctly, and yeah i fixed the mistakes i had on the paper. Hopefully i get the grade i deserve. I made sure that my paper would be done in a professional content and structure. Let's hope for the better grade! good luck classmates with your research papers as well! 

"Critical Thinking Blog #5"

  I've taken Critical Thinking class during my last semester. In fact, many essays that we read were more based on facts. Also, as a current student of LaGuardia Community College we use many devices everyday. Basically technology such as, using cell phones, cameras, or any other techno- romantic devies are useful. In our English 101 class we have read an article based on "Cloning", and "Artificial Intelligence". The essay "A number" written by: Caryl Churchill is a piece of fictional story of  Human Cloning, and the lives of Fictional characters.

"My Research Paper Status"

My research is composed on the film "The Notebook". Theirs many ideas in referring to Alzheimer's, and I'm still having problems with my thesis. Indeed, i need more evidence on my argument for the whole reasearch. In fact, the film is based on a patient named 'Allie', but i need to more evidence.. I'll keep posting more information relating to my research!

Today I learned that for the reaserch paper, the grade would be better if we use cites in the paragraphs. Also, in the research paper we must put a tittle in order to make the reader attracted to our writing.

                    My topic is based on the film "The Notebook". Last summer i was watching this movie, and i came across the topic of 'Alzsheimer'. It was very important for me to learn about this disease. I found an article on JSTOR, suggesting the pro's, and cons of the disease. I can't find the Source, but when i do i'll just post it again!    

“Critical Thinking Blog Assignment #1”

                Many of us have opinions about technology that can be classified along the spectrum of being a “optimist” or a “pessimist” meaning the categorizations that reflect our general attitude about our technological past, present, and future. In fact, I am more on the side of the pessimists, though not completely so. As for the long term, while I have concerns about people cutting themselves off from real life though technology, when it comes right down to it, there are signs that people see the importance of saving our planet and its resources. Technology has surely provided us with means for improving our lives. Such as, medical technology has improved the length of our lives, people in wealthy nations often have access to cheap electricity and food, and the Internet allows us to communicate with people all over the world. However, all of this belongs to the fulfillment of  technology. As (Kurzweil) argues that through the advances of machines we will begin to have relationships with ‘robots’ and their personalities and use them  as e.g. teachers, and lovers. As a result, the distinction between us  humans, and computers will have become sufficiently blurred that when the machines claim to be conscious, we will believe them.
